Totally Swing Sets Shipping Information

Shipping Terms and Limitations

When you order your unique play system from Totally Swing Sets items will be shipped using the most efficient and cost effective method possible. Most accessories and small orders will arrive via UPS Ground or FedEx and will arrive separately if ordered in combination with a swing set. Large swing sets and palletized items will require a freight carrier for shipment and delivery. These items will be shipped directly from the manufacturer to a freight terminal near your address. You will then be contacted by the freight company to arrange a delivery time to your property. Deliveries are typically made during regular business hours, Monday-Friday.

The freight carrier will deliver and unload your order at curbside as close to your property as the delivery vehicle will allow. You will be required to be present during this delivery and may be asked to assist with unloading large items. There are no additional charges for the services provided by the freight carrier. However, additional services, such as unloading merchandise to your backyard or into a garage, may involve additional charges. These arrangements must be made by the customer through directly contacting the freight carrier. Additional storage fees can also be added if the freight carrier is unable to contact your or set up a timely delivery date and extended storage time is required. Additional fees are not the responsibility of Totally Swing Sets.

Totally Swing Sets is not able to ship play sets outside of the United States, including to Canada. When shipping to Alaska or Hawaii our normal rates, including free shipping on orders over $99, do not apply. Customers in these states will be responsible for additional freight charges.

Free Shipping

Totally Swing Sets is happy to provide free shipping on any order over $99. Free shipping only applies to orders placed within the continental United States. Additional shipping charges will be applied to orders outside of the lower 48 states or on orders that require rush delivery.

While Totally Swing Sets assures that you will not be charged a dime for shipping, we cannot guarantee that freight carriers in your area will not require extra fees for curbside delivery. These additional fees will be addressed through the freight company and will be the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery Times

Orders at Totally Swing Sets are processed as soon as possible every week day, Monday – Friday. While we cannot guarantee shipping and delivery times, we will work closely with manufacturers and freight carriers to assure reasonable and timely delivery. Swing sets and accessories are shipped directly from the manufacturer and once an order is received, shipping may take up to 25 business days for swing sets and 6-8 business days for accessories. This time can vary by the brand of swing set ordered and the time of year the order is placed. Shipping and delivery times will likely increase during high volume seasons including spring, summer, and Christmas time.

After an order has shipped, delivery times will also vary based on the freight carrier, size of the order, customer location, and holidays. Outside factors that are out of our control such as weather, carrier equipment, or natural disaster may also effect delivery time. All orders can be tracked for more specific delivery times using the tracking number you will receive after your order is processed.

Undelivered or Damaged Items

When your new swing set from Totally Swing Sets arrives, it is your responsibility to inspect all boxes and products closely for damage or missing parts. While the manufacturers of our products take extra care to make sure orders are packaged and bundled properly, it is inevitable that there will be some rough handling and wear and tear during shipment. If you see noticeable damage to the product you must immediately note it on the bill of lading before the driver leaves. The driver must also initial the receipt and note that the "Product is Damaged". You will then obtain a copy of this receipt and damages become the responsibility of the freight company. You must then contact the manufacturer directly within 24 hours to report any damages or shortages so replacement parts can be sent out immediately.

Totally Swing Sets is not responsible for undelivered items due to customer error in providing an incorrect shipping address or an address that is not located at a secure location. If a shipment cannot be delivered successfully or if a customer is not available to accept the shipment after an extended period of time, merchandise will be returned to the manufacturer. The customer will then be refunded the price of the item minus any incurred shipping fees.

We are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen after they have been delivered.

Returns and Cancellations

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason other than defective or damaged merchandise you can return your order within 30 days. You will receive a full refund of the product price, minus the shipping and handling costs of the item, including items that initially qualified for free shipping.
